October 2026

Facebook  Instagram

We're excited to share the very first edition of our new monthly parish newsletter!

While our weekly Friday e-blast will continue to provide essential parish announcements and reminders, this monthly update will help you stay connected to all the wonderful things happening throughout our parish family.

Look for ministry news, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, parish highlights, and more on the first Tuesday of each month.

Have something to share? Submit ministry updates, announcements, and event information to communications@stmos.org, by the last Tuesday of the previous month for consideration in the next newsletter.

Please join us in our October Hallow Prayer Challenges.

Mass of Infant and Child Remembrance

Sunday, October 25th at 10am

We invite families who have experienced the loss of an infant or child to join us for a special Mass of Remembrance on October 25 at 10:00 a.m. Together, we will entrust our little ones to the loving mercy of God and pray for comfort, healing, and hope.

Following Mass, several ministries will be available to offer resources, support, and guidance to families who may find them helpful. Families will also have the opportunity to enter their child’s name in our parish Book of Life.

If you would like your child’s name to be read during the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass, please register by October 21.

Women's Adoration Evening

Wednesday, October 28th at 7pm

All women of the parish are invited to join us for an evening of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Following Adoration, we will gather in the Holy Family Room for fellowship and light refreshments. If you're able, please bring a snack to share. We hope you'll join us for this beautiful evening of prayer and community!

First Friday Adoration

November 6th 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

We still have a few Adorer time slots that need to be filled.

Spending just one hour with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is a beautiful way to grow in faith, find peace, and pray for the needs of our parish and loved ones.

Please prayerfully consider making this commitment and helping ensure that every hour is covered. Your presence makes a difference.

Vote Yes on Amendment 3

Amendment 3 in 2026 will:

  • Restore protections for the unborn
  • Require abortion clinics to meet high standards for safety and cleanliness
  • Endure parental or judicial consent for minors
  • Severely limit public funding for abortion services
  • Prevent surgical or medical gender transition on minors

As we approach the November state elections, join us for a parish presentation on Faithful Citizenship and Amendment 3. The passing of Amendment 3 would reinstate health care protections for women and children, ensuring safety standards and abortion limitations.

Do you have questions about Amendment 3 and what it means? Do you want to have meaningful conversations with others about the Amendment? Are you opposed to the Amendment and want to understand Church teaching about abortion? One last chance to participate in a presentation.
