Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
God is not mocked. His Eternal Word shows many examples of His understandable wrath as His people called by His Name reject him. The Message version of Romans 1: 18-23 states this well, especially the last sentence:
Ignoring God Leads to a Downward Spiral
But God’s angry displeasure erupts as acts of human mistrust and wrongdoing and lying accumulate, as people try to put a shroud over truth. But the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse. What happened was this: People knew God perfectly well, but when they didn’t treat him like God, refusing to worship him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense nor direction left in their lives. They pretended to know it all, but were illiterate regarding life. They traded the glory of God who holds the whole world in his hands for cheap figurines you can buy at any roadside stand.
In this increasingly evil world, you and I, in His Kingdom through repentance, now cleansing regularly through repentance, can experience His JOY in the middle of this evil.
As you remove old sin strongholds, renouncing them in the Name of Yeshua and under His Blood, more Holy Spirit will pour through you. You'll receive more Fruits of the Holy Spirit, including His JOY. In sharing His JOY with others we will witness to many, bringing many into His Kingdom. JOY in this evil world is a powerful witness of His Transformation in our lives!
This follows the pattern of our Lord Jesus Who experienced the JOY set before Him as He endured the cross. Hebrews 12: 1-2 states:
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the JOY that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He's the soon-coming Bridegroom. We have to get ready as His Bride.
