City Projects: major road projects updates and emergency alert system upgrades
The Lakeline Boulevard
Road Rehabilitation Project
Starting last Monday, June 5, we had to close connections to southbound side of Lakeline Boulevard at Continental Pass, Cedar Hills Boulevard and Surrey Lane.
Also, because this area of Lakeline Boulevard is only one lane in each direction, we're only allowing right turns in and out of neighborhoods along this area that's under construction. It's to ensure safety and traffic flow.
These closures last about 6 weeks, then contractors will switch sides and start working on the northbound lanes.

Anderson Mill Road Phase 2 Project Update
The Anderson Mill Road Phase II Road Project was delayed slightly due to rain, but weather-pending, each intersection should still take about a week to complete. Work is progressing along the northbound side of Anderson Mill Road and then the roads that intersect with the southbound side of Anderson Mill Road. Also, at the Thursday, June 8 City Council Meeting, City Council authorized a Change Order for the construction contract to now include traffic signal at Grand Falls Drive.

Beginning the week of June 19 the City’s PSWAS will be getting an upgrade. The City currently has three units located at Milburn Park, Veterans Park and Brushy Creek Sports Park. These will first be removed, then the new upgraded units will replace them. In addition to the replacement of the three units, a fourth unit will be installed at Lakeline Park.
