Number 1:

The alcohol industry is facing a seismic shift as analysts predict a historic pullback in sales, potentially wiping out a significant number of wine and spirits brands. The downturn, described by some insiders as a “bloodbath,” could see once-popular labels disappearing from shelves as consumer habits evolve.

Market experts are signaling that bourbon and tequila—two of the fastest-growing liquor categories in recent years—may not be immune to the shakeout. A combination of economic pressures, shifting consumer preferences, and the rise of non-alcoholic alternatives is believed to be fueling the decline.

“Overproduction, changing drinking habits, and a tightening economy are creating the perfect storm,” said industry analyst Mark Evans. “We’re likely to see a consolidation of brands, with smaller or underperforming labels getting squeezed out.”

The trend follows years of booming sales, particularly during the pandemic, when at-home consumption surged. However, with consumers now cutting back on discretionary spending and turning toward health-conscious choices, the industry faces a sharp reversal.

Industry leaders and distilleries are closely watching the market, bracing for what could be a defining moment in the future of alcohol sales. For some brands, survival may depend on innovation, price adjustments, or a complete reinvention of their marketing strategies.

Can you hear that, bourbon and tequila? The market is shifting—and not every brand will make it to the other side.

I have a prop tank that’s sitting unused and i want to start using it for some one-offs/variants but it only has one side port. Any suggestions on a way to get a carb stone and a sample valve on this thing?
