Moving past the rain
Oh, how time flies! We are almost at the one year mark since we started construction of the Narthex addition. What was intended to be a sprint is now more like a marathan. We know everyone wants this project finished and the Vestry continues to appreciate your patience.
We have hired Bill West Roofing to replace the north face of the roof and we are simply waiting our turn in line. Temporary repairs will hopefully prevent any more water leakage.
The large windows for the Narthex addition have been ordered from Santa Fe Glass and will be installed after they are manufactured.
Flooring installation is scheduled to begin on May 16.
Our mowing contractor will haul off excess dirt at the rear of the church and we will rescape the land around the addition to flow water away from the building.
We've met with a concrete contractor to discuss ideas how to re-design and fix the east entrance to prevent further water problems.
A huge thank you to RIch Conn for cleaning the red door at the east entrance!
