AOG Leader Statement
Autistic people are doing incredible things - and AOG is here to help. In this newsletter, we're highlighting autistic people making music and autistic people hosting events. Plus, we're looking for autistic people to join our board and be part of leading innovative, impactful programs.
Who would you be joining? I'm Janette, and I got here through AOG's Your Job, Your Way program. I'll be writing this monthly newsletter, and I'm also working on some strategic planning to help AOG grow. Watch for exciting updates in the coming months!
As we enter the holiday season, we are grateful to have you with us - and we would love to welcome you as official members of our AOG family. Click Join below to get access to even more events and resources (and a gift bag full of goodies).
At AOG, we believe everyone has something to contribute, as we create a community by us but for all. How do you want to be part of what we're building? We're listening: info@autismonthego.org.
Let's do incredible things together,
Janette Rosenbaum

💥 We Want You on the AOG Board! 💥
Hey changemakers, dream-builders, and delightful weirdos — yes, we’re talking to you!
AOG is growing fast, and we’re looking for new Board Members who want to help shape our next chapter. Whether you’re a big-picture visionary, a detail wizard, a spreadsheet sorcerer, or just someone who deeply believes in creating spaces for all, there’s a seat waiting for your unique magic.
We especially need a Treasurer right now (someone who doesn’t faint at the sight of a spreadsheet 🧮), but we’d also love a few fresh voices for general Board seats.
No corporate jargon. No gatekeeping. Just real people making real change — together.
✨ Perks of joining the AOG Board:
- Bragging rights for helping run a revolutionary neurodivergent-led nonprofit
- Opportunities to grow, lead, and shape programs that matter
- A front-row seat to the future we’re building
🌀 Interested? Curious? Mildly intrigued?
Email info@autismonthego.org or message James directly to learn more. We’ll walk you through what’s involved, answer your questions, and cheer you on every step of the way.

🚇 Autism On the Go Presents: The Messi Silver Hammers – Live in Concert!
Spring 2026 | Date & Venue TBA
Lately there’s been talk — of “the strangest sound reportedly from Washington.”
Low, steady, metallic — part rhythm, part revelation. Some say it’s just machinery.
We know better.
This spring, Autism On the Go brings that sound to light with The Messi Silver Hammers, a live performance event inspired by the spirit of Sub-Rosa Subway — where the unseen moves the world beneath its feet.
Driven by thunderous drums, deep synth-bass, and sharp trap-infused lyrics, the music of Damian Gallina rises from underground energy to full-blown movement. It’s the voice “from down below” that no one could quite name — until now.
Like the secret builders of the first subway, The Messi Silver Hammers works in silence until the city trembles. Each track strikes steel on steel, echoing the resilience and raw creativity of neurodiverse artists breaking through the noise.
🎶 Proceeds will support Autism On the Go, funding accessibility programs that amplify voices often overlooked but never silent.
So when that bassline starts rumbling through the streets this spring, you’ll know — the Sub-Rosa signal’s gone live.
All aboard Sub Rosa Subway. The Messi Silver Hammers are coming.
