There are a few spaces in the studio for in-person students who are vaccinated (please contact Judith directly if interested). There is no previous yoga experience required. The purpose of the class is self-care during the winter season; increasing self-awareness, emotional balance, physical strength, flexibility, and muscular endurance. The class will integrate mindfulness, breath technique, yoga postures, kinesthetic awareness, and alignment in an hour of relaxing, quiet, guided movement.

Stewart McPherson Visits White Memorial

British Explorer / Naturalist Stewart McPherson visited White Memorial on Saturday, January 21, 2023. This fascinating globetrotter, the author of thirty books, came to give a talk on the wildlife of the Falkland Islands. McPherson and Gerri Griswold will bring a group of twelve to the Falklands in January 2024. The trip is sold out.

Stewart was celebrated at a cocktail reception in the Museum prior to his talk. He is pictured here holding our Passenger Pigeon specimen. The Conservation Center is so grateful to Stewart McPherson for taking the time to visit us in Litchfield.
