Hello Valley View Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. It is hard to believe we are coming to the end of October already! We had a fantastic week here at Valley View as students continue to learn, grow, and work hard.

Just a quick reminder that student conferences are coming up this week- Wednesday and Thursday afternoon/evening and Friday morning. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you need to still set up a conference. We look forward to seeing you here!

This week we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week around promoting healthy lifestyles, have some fun dress up days (see graphic below), and a door decorating contest around our theme of living a healthy life. Ask your child(ren) about their classroom door.

It's going to be a great week! Go Valiant Knights!

Respectfully,

Jenni Tamblingson

Volunteers Needed

This week we will be hosting the Menomonee Falls Fire Department for our annual Fire Prevention Week stations. We are looking for at least two adults for each session who could supervise the stations-- there is no preparation on your part-- just be there with students while the Fire Department presents how to stay fire safe. If you can help us during this time, please sign up on this document. You must register to be a volunteer with the district BEFORE volunteering. You can do that HERE. Thank you for considering!

Student Spotlight

We want to showcase our wonderful students and their busy lives and accomplishments outside of school. We have a segment on our morning announcements for Student Spotlights, so if you would like to share, please send a picture and short summary to:

tambjen@sdmfschools or brentan@sdmfschools.org

Thank you!
