Holy Week is Coming Dear friends at Crosstown,

As you read this newsletter, Easter will be less than two weeks away. The stunning good news - that Jesus died and ROSE from the dead, is the bedrock of our faith. It is why Peter says we have a “living hope”. Easter is when we celebrate that wonderful mighty work of God – raising Jesus from the grave, so that as Lord, all who trust Him have the promise of life beyond this life. This good news from God is meant to be shared with others, not kept to ourselves. And so I urge, and challenge you – who will you invite to join you at Crosstown this Easter? Who needs to what the good news? Pray, and then invite others - from your neighborhood, acquaintances, school classmates, relatives, etc.

You can use our EASTER SUNDAY invite card as you invite others. It includes the times for our Good Friday service and our Easter Sunday breakfast and worship service.

Savor these words, “my hope has found a resting place, not in a man-made creed. I trust the ever-living One, that he for me will plead. I need no other evidence, I need no other plea, it is enough that Jesus died and rose again for me.”

Thank you Crosstown members for your financial generosity in addressing the cost of the replacement of the 60 year old sump pump. We are hopeful to have our new pump installed by the end of the month, through Hayes Mechanical. Please continue to pray that our building is safe & functional as we press on in God's mission in our neighborhood.

Prayer Training



Our prayer team is holding a prayer ministry training after the worship service on March 29 at 11:45 in the Heritage Room. This is a chance for us to grow in our skills and share ideas about how to best support one another in prayer during Sunday services, Grow Groups, etc. This training is strongly encouraged for Sunday Prayer Servants/Partners, but anyone is welcome. Snacks will be provided. If you have questions, talk with Kathy McGillivray.
