Feedback Requested!

Draft of Media Arts Foundational Skills

Arts|Learning, in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), continues to develop Foundational Skills Progressions in the various arts disciplines. The Media Arts Foundational Skills Progressions are now ready in draft form for public review and commentary.

We are seeking feedback from professional arts educators across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in order to strengthen and revise these documents before final approval and adoption. These Skills Progressions are intended to help "unpack" and be in alignment with the current 2019 MA Arts Curriculum Framework.

Because media arts is interdisciplinary in nature, any arts educators including dance, music, theatre, or visual arts that employs technology in creating art, are asked to give us feedback as well as media arts educators.
