“What came to us as a seed may go to the next generation as a blossom,
and what came to us as a blossom may go to them as fruit.”
- Henry Ward Beecher
| Ann Manning was beloved at Plymouth, and her impact extended into the community and beyond. A fierce witness for justice, Ann was the co-chair of our Racial Justice Initiative and one of the founding members of the Plymouth Presence Team. She was instrumental in beginning our weekly justice vigil at Franklin & Nicollet, which continues every Tuesday. Ann’s capacity for love and relationship was evident in her abiding commitment to friends and family. Generous in life and thoughtful upon her death, Ann’s estate blessed Plymouth Congregational Church with an abundant gift to our Legacy Fund. We thank God for Ann’s inspiring life, and may we honor her legacy and memory through her magnificent gift. | | |
