Today's Message on February 23, 2025

Often we rely on our own strength to accomplish goals, strive to achieve greater success only to be disillusioned when we finally arrive thinking this is not enough. Learning to rely upon God instead of self is a lifetime work through our growing sanctification. First coming to an inner realization that this life is not my own and a need to die to self is a major realization. And so it goes. A continuing growth of letting go of those worldly encouragements that you can do it!! You can achieve whatever you put your mind to. But first is God actually ordering your steps? Are you growing in the understanding that grace, mercy and favor will open doors that you may never imagine according to your own understanding? Are you growing in trusting and allowing God to direct your paths or are you still telling God what you want or seek. Surrender is key, daily remembrance of surrender, repentance and confession are key elements in walking in the sprit verses walking in self. How much time are you spending with the most important relationship in this life, Christ? God is giving you the power to overcome, to breathe, to accomplish goals and to even live. Just ask the dying woman , the dying man how utterly powerless he or she is. Friend your life is precious. Do not waste it on frivolous goals that lack meaning and miss the command to Love Thy Neighbor!!! Purposely, grow in your sanctification.
