Eid Mubarak from Ojala Family!

Alhamdulilah, Ojala celebrated Eid with hundreds of community members, offering Eid Salah in Spanish and English.

We enjoyed delicious food from La Charanga Halal Restaurant. The kids were thrilled to receive a special toy from our generous supporters at MCC.

Jazak'Allah Khair to everyone who made this happen. It was a beautiful day of celebration!

Fasting the 6 Days of Shawwal

The Prophet ﷺ encouraged fasting six days of Shawwal after completing the obligatory fasts of Ramadan. The well-known hadith states:

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever fasts during the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwal will be (rewarded) as if he had fasted the entire year."

— (Sahih Muslim 1164)
