Kicking off the LaLiberte Elementary Annual Boosterthon!
LaLiberte Elementary School is gearing up for their annual Fun Run! To kick off the Boosterthon fundraiser, LaLiberte held a school-wide pep rally. Together, students learned about the significance of the Boosterthon Fun Run and their mission to raise money for their school. This assembly was not only a great way to get the kids excited for the Fun Run, but an opportunity to teach them about the importance of community, charity, and gratitude.
With a goal of $45,000, LaLiberte is working to raise funds for field trips and enrichment programs for its students. The Boosterthon presents kids with an exciting way to learn character-building traits and support their school. Additionally, every share and donation will earn your student entries to the Grand Prize Giveaway! For more information on the fundraiser, visit the LaLiberte Parent Organization page. Sign up your student today at MyBooster.com.

Raynham Community Day
What a great time! Thank you RAVE!!! The Raynham Fall Festival was a lively community celebration organized by the Raynham Association of Volunteers for Education (R.A.V.E.). Held as a free, family-friendly event, it brought together residents of Raynham and surrounding areas to enjoy a range of activities. Local businesses and organizations set up booths, offering demonstrations, while live music from the Bridgewater Antiphonal Brass Band filled the air.
Attendees enjoyed pony rides, face painting, and a bake sale, while the Raynham Fire and Police departments provided engaging demonstrations. The Senior Center held an open house, and the event also featured a pie-baking contest, animals, and other interactive displays.
RAVE thanks those involved: "It was a beautiful day to celebrate Raynham thanks to all of you. In the three years we've been involved with this event, we've never had so many people in attendance throughout the entire day! It was so nice to gather with our friends, neighbors and local businesses and organizations. This day would not have been possible without our generous sponsors. A special thank you to all of our sponsors including: Bluestone Bank, Bristol County Savings Bank, Harbor One Bank, Win Waste Innovations. We'd also like to thank Shaw's Supermarket for their donation to the Raynham Food Basket and Comparion Insurance for their donation to the event.
The booths were amazing with creative set-ups, giveaways, raffles, activities and more! The entertainment provided by various entertainers from a band concert by the Bridgewater Antiphonal Brass Society, a petting zoo with alpacas and goats, a magic show, BRRHS Marching Band, Thai dancing, a unique reptile show, pony rides, (and more) were all top notch. Our local martial arts, drama and dance schools were phenomenal and the crowd let us know by cheering and clapping. Thank you to Raynham Channel Director, Michael Heylin and his crew, for the sound system, announcing our entertainment, and videoing throughout the event. The Kids Zone with face painting, balloon animals, and yard games was a draw for many. There was an endless supply of hotdogs, soda, and water from the Raynham Lions Club. Delicious clam chowder from Seafood and Cones Restaurant of Raynham was another highlight of the day, as well as subs from Jersey Mike's of Raynham, and pizza provided by Piezoni's on Rt. 138 in Raynham. All of these food items were generously donated by these wonderful businesses/organizations! The Raynham Police and Fire demonstrations were a hit as well. It is clear that the firefighters and police officers truly enjoy this day with the kids. Thank you to our Raynham CERT and Raynham Police for assisting with parking and safety. It was a great day to visit the open house at the Senior Center and enjoy their art show. The 3rd Annual Pie Baking Contest was a great success thanks to the seven pie bakers and our special celebrity judge, Art, owner of Art's Bakery. Our Bake Sale was completely sold out. Thank you to our bakers who donated their time and talent. These were just a few highlights of the day, as there is just too much to mention. A special note of gratitude to all of our Raynham Town Departments who helped make this event such a success. Thank you to ALL!" Rave Rave Raynham

Compassion
"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." ~ Dalai Lama
"Our uniqueness, our individuality, and our life experience molds us into fascinating beings. I hope we can embrace that. I pray we may all challenge ourselves to delve into the deepest resources of our hearts to cultivate an atmosphere of understanding, acceptance, tolerance, and compassion. We are all in this life together."
~ Linda Thompson
"In my view, the best of humanity is in our exercise of empathy and compassion. It's when we challenge ourselves to walk in the shoes of someone whose pain or plight might seem so different than yours that it's almost incomprehensible." ~Sarah McBride
"In Asian languages, the word for 'mind' and the word for 'heart' are same. So if you're not hearing mindfulness in some deep way as heartfulness, you're not really understanding it. Compassion and kindness towards oneself are intrinsically woven into it. You could think of mindfulness as wise and affectionate attention."
~ Jon Kabat-Zinn
