MAYOR'S UPDATE

From the desk of Mayor Rika Levin

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Martin Luther King Cooperative Scholarship of Ossining ceremony at OHS. This event, a moving celebration and tribute, is a long-standing tradition in Ossining that raises college scholarship dollars for African American male high schoolers. I am honored to support this cause. Thanks again for the amazing jazz performance by Juno and the Petals. Miles would have loved it!

Shout-out to the newly formed a Capella group — The BriarClefs— on their outstanding inaugural performance this past Saturday. Mark and I got to see so many of our Ossining/Briarcliff neighbors!

Congratulations to the Ossining Youth Bureau’s basketball team – who won the 1st annual MLK Day tournament in a well-played game against White Plains. This victory not only showcases the team's talent and hard work but also brings a sense of pride to our community.
