San Gabriel’s Dumpling & Beer Fest Returns on October 4; Beer Garden Tickets Now on Sale

Taste, sip and enjoy local culinary delights and artisanal craft beers.

San Gabriel, Calif. San Gabriel's Dumpling & Beer Fest, a local twist on Oktoberfest, returns on Friday, October 4, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the historic Mission District. This exciting event features a delectable array of dumplings and San Gabriel Valley culinary delights, craft beers from seven regional breweries, and a unique vintage tap truck pouring selections from four local breweries. 


Admission to the festival is free and open to guests of all ages, who can enjoy a delicious variety of dumplings and other unique foods, kids' activities, and live entertainment outside the beer garden. For those aged 21 and above, the artisanal beer garden awaits, where they can indulge in unlimited pours from participating breweries with a valid wristband ticket. 


Early-bird wristband tickets are now on sale for $35 through September 20, and regular-priced tickets will be $40 beginning September 21 until sold out. Interested beer enthusiasts can now purchase a wristband ticket at dumplingandbeerfest.com. Wristbands will be available for pickup at the festival entrance on the day of the event.


The Dumpling & Beer Fest is a vibrant culinary and community block party that features everything from traditional dumplings to inventive creations like dumpling burritos, bratwurst dumplings, cheeseburger dumplings and vegan dumplings. In addition to dumplings, a range of non-alcoholic beverages, delectable desserts, and other mouthwatering treats will be available for purchase throughout the Mission District.


Ticketed guests aged 21 and above can savor unlimited pours from the following breweries:


  • Beer Thug Brewing Company
  • Brewjería Company
  • Burning Bridge Brewing
  • Common Space Brewery
  • Mt. Lowe Brewing Company
  • Ogopogo Brewing
  • Old Stump Brewery Company


New to the festival this year is a vintage 1956 Ford Panel Tap Truck offering unique taps from four additional breweries.


As the sun sets, attendees can revel in live music from DJs and a band, including classic rock tunes by The Snipes and a mobile "Soundbox Truck" DJ. Kids can enjoy various fun activities outside the beer garden, including inflatable jumpers, arts and crafts, and complimentary face painting.
