And Learn:

  • How to segment your clients based on their charitable needs and understand how to identify and support your client-donors charitable needs;
  • How to identify and support your client-donors, whether in the top 1% of givers, top 2-10% of giver, or everyday givers;
  • Best practices for talking about charitable planning with your clients: who to target, when to bring it up, and what to say, while learning from case studies.

Three Takeways:

1. You will have a clear understanding of how to identify which donor segments your clients fall into.

2. You will learn about useful resources to support your clients at different levels of their "giving-needs."

3. You will learn practical language to use with clients in different charitable scenarios.

BIO: Erinn Andrews

Erinn Andrews, the current VP and incoming President of the National Board of Advisors in Philanthropy, is a social entrepreneur, innovator, and philanthropy leader.

As the Founder and CEO of GiveTeam, Erinn runs a unique philanthropic planning practice specializing in supporting donors who wish to be more intentional in their giving. Offering a new philanthropic advising model, GiveTeam collaborates closely with financial advisors across the country to help their clients develop a charitable mission statement and select local nonprofits aligned with their values.

Before founding GiveTeam, Erinn led the Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative at Stanford’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, where she researched donor behavior, published resources, and developed education programs.

Previously, she led GuideStar’s (now Candid) nonprofit strategy, managing the largest database of nonprofit information in the U.S. After earning her B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University, Erinn launched a nonprofit called Philanthropedia, acquired by GuideStar, to identify high-impact nonprofits across multiple cause areas.
