The Town of West Hartford’s 2020 Energy Plan recognizes the need to develop a long-term strategic plan for the installation, operation, and maintenance of Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE) – particularly charging stations – that ensures equitable access and usability, economic viability, and integration with town infrastructure. The EVSE Strategy will guide the Town from planning and site identification through design, product/vendor identification, and implementation and administration.
