Dear Colleagues,

Things are slowing down as we approach Thanksgiving; many schools in the West are closed for the week (a tradition that was one of many surprises when I moved from the East Coast to the West!) Whether it is for a full week or a couple of days, we sincerely hope that this holiday offers a chance to catch our breath, enjoy the company of family, friends and other loved ones, take a few walks outside to savor the gifts of nature, and maybe curl up with a good book.

Gratitude is the mood of this season; we know that gratitude is a powerful force for the good, one that helps us approach our work with positivity and enthusiasm. At the Alliance, we are so grateful for the work that takes place every day in schools across the country. With that mindset, we offer the following recognition.

Heartfelt thanks to every one of you for all that you do and contribute!

Alliance Conference

Another reason for gratitude: we are eagerly anticipating seeing many of you in Los Angeles in January. See here for details of our exciting range of workshops. We look forward to inspiring and engaging keynotes, workshops, discussion groups, and the serendipity of encounters with colleagues. It will be a not-to-be missed chance for engagement and enrichment.

Note that our early bird discount ends on December 1.

We’ll announce our virtual conference

lineup and open registration next week.
