Dear Friend,

We know you share our belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.

We also know that across the country, communities face rollbacks to civil rights, reproductive justice, and protections for immigrants and gender-diverse people. In this climate, local organizations rooted in trust are leading the way. As we have from our inception, NewMexicoWomen.Org supports these organizations with the funding, research, and solidarity needed to protect community rights and build safety from the ground up.

As our 2024 Year in Review illustrates, NMW.O’s grantmaking and programmatic efforts expanded last year to meet growing needs. In 2024, we distributed over $1 million – a 26% increase from 2023 – to groups developing the leadership of adolescent girls, training communities about healthy masculinities, advocating for women and families during the legislative session, and ensuring access to reproductive care — to name a few.

As regressive policies continue to threaten rights and safety for gender-diverse communities, immigrants, and mixed-status families, NMW.O’s role in safeguarding local solutions has never been more urgent. Many of the grassroots organizations we fund support these communities across New Mexico.

As you read the 2024 Year in Review, please consider making a gift today to help increase access to resources, shift philanthropic practices toward community-led solutions, and enhance community resilience across New Mexico.

We are stronger together, and our collective impact is formidable. We are deeply grateful for your investment in our work.

In community,
