Election Results, Jena Griswold Still Failing, Polis Gaslighting on Crime, and More!

Here are some of the stories we are following this week. Connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for up-to-the-minute news.

  • The 2024 election is in the books. Nationally, Donald Trump will be the 47th President of the United States, winning a clear and decisive victory. Jeff Crank has been elected for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. Lauren Boebert also won her race for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District. You can see all the election results here.

  • Ranked choice voting failed in Colorado, as did the amendment guaranteeing school choice for taxpayers. If you have children in school, you’ll still have to teach them to read yourself, while schools focus more on communist revolutionary tactics.

  • Locally, Ballot Issue 2C was passed, the pothole tax that we were told 10 years ago would be temporary. This made Mayor Mobolade happy. Colorado Springs residents also rejected the sale of recreational marijuana in city limits, although some were confused by the two measures presented on the ballot. All the information for state and local issues can be found here.

  • El Paso County had the highest voter turnout of any county in the state, with unaffiliated voters casting the most votes.

  • Taxpayer funds will now be used to provide abortions in Colorado. Amendment 79, enshrining abortion into the State Constitution, was passed with ease in Colorado. So, this is yet another service that will be provided by Colorado taxpayers and another way for leftists to loot the public treasury for themselves.

  • A Denver measure that would have allowed those who are not American citizens to serve as police and fire personnel failed. It did, however, come close to passing. Does anyone see any problems that could stem from Venezuelan gang members who have badges and guns and police authority?

  • Those who advocate for illegal immigration are weighing in on the election of Donald Trump, and the potential for mass deportations. We have a question: why is it that almost nobody in government advocates for taxpayers?

  • Some voting machines in El Paso County were compromised in Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s password leak failure. Meanwhile, Griswold doesn’t think it’s such a big deal. Do you think she will be held accountable for committing a felony?

  • The Libertarian Party of Colorado has filed a lawsuit against Griswold for her incompetence. Watch for this to go nowhere, as laws are only enforced against the little people.

  • As information on Griswold’s voting machine password leak gets slow-walked to the people who pay the bills, the details keep getting worse. We are now learning that the passwords were posted online for months.

  • Two women, one of whom is a postal service employee, have been charged with stealing ballots out of the mail and then filling them out before casting them. This is called election fraud, which we have been assured is not happening.

  • The migrant gangs in Colorado are branching out. A total of 9 burglaries in a wealthy Denver neighborhood are being blamed on “South American theft groups.”

  • Taxpayers are paying far more for the wolf reintroduction scheme than was projected. When have government cost projections ever not been exceeded? Taxpayers will be forced to pick up the tab.

  • The Ford Amphitheater saga continues. Sound measurements are being taken that assure neighbors that it’s quiet enough for them. Neighbors say otherwise.

  • Denver is working to eliminate large vagrant camps, which, as expected, is resulting in many smaller, more dispersed vagrant camps. Returning to civility after allowing and rewarding incivility isn’t an easy task.

  • Big News: Governor Jared Polis went on TV and declared that Colorado, under Jared Polis’ governance, has a zero-tolerance policy on crime. Peak gaslighting. Will this zero-tolerance policy be applied to Jena Griswold?

  • If you would like to help support us in our mission as government watchdogs by becoming a Newsletter Sponsor, we offer two sponsorships for each weekly newsletter, at the nominal cost of $100 each. Funds raised from these sponsorship opportunities will help us to keep looking out for taxpayers.

Here are some upcoming meetings in the area. We hope you can attend one or more! If there are other public meetings you’d like to see announced here, please drop us a line. We are happy to include them in an upcoming newsletter. These might be government-related, candidate, or elected official meetings. Thanks!
