Buckle Up...Touch a Truck is Coming!


The annual Deerfield Township Touch a Truck event is quickly approaching! This year's event will feature a wide variety of vehicles, from fire trucks and police cars to construction equipment and even a race car. Kids of all ages will have the chance to climb aboard, honk horns, and learn about the different types of vehicles in our community. Inflatables, a DJ, and local vendors will round out this free family friendly community event! Touch A Truck will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 10 - 1 pm at Deerfield Towne Center!

FREE Vermicomposting Workshop


Looking for a natural and sustainable way to improve your soil? Join us for a free vermicomposting workshop on September 26th at the Kingswood Activity Center! Melissa Proffitt of Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District will walk you step by step through the process of creating your own vermicomposting bin. All supplies, including worms, are provided so you will leave with the knowledge and tools you need to get started. Space is limited, so register today!

Deerfield Township Parks Department is bursting with excitement to announce that shelters at Cottell Park, Schappacher Park, and the newly renovated Kingswood Park Activity Center are now available for reservations and private rentals. Summers Final Movie in the Park


Join us for a night of cinematic magic under the stars! Friday, September 13th, Deerfield will host our final Movie Under the Stars event of the summer at Cottell Park.

Enjoy the blockbuster hit "Top Gun: Maverick" while snacking on free popcorn generously donated by Regal Cinemas. The movie will begin at dusk, but pre-show games and activities start at 6:15 PM.

Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks, or purchase delicious Kona Ice. We hope to see you there for an unforgettable evening of fun!

Kids Who Care: Spreading Joy Through Art


Deerfield Township, The Arts Alliance, and Terri Riddle Art is proud to bring the Kids Who Care program to our community this fall. Children will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our community and foster their sense of responsibility. by creating cards for those in our community who are in need of a smile, emotional boost, and a sense of belonging. All supplies will be provided... children only need to bring their caring spirit!

Handmade Market Returns to Cottell Park



Get ready to shop 'til you drop at the Deerfield Handmade Market! Presented by The Arts Alliance, this annual event will return to Cottell Park on Sunday, September 15th, from 11 am to 4 pm.

Discover a treasure trove of handcrafted goods from local artisans, including jewelry, pottery, artwork, and more. Enjoy live music, delicious food from local vendors, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Admission is free, and there's plenty of parking available.

Volunteers Needed: Kingswood Invasive Species Removal

September 29, 9 - 12 pm


Join the Ohio River Foundation on Saturday, September 29th for a community event to help preserve the natural beauty of Kingswood Park. Invasive species pose a significant threat to our local ecosystems, and your participation is vital in restoring balance to this beloved green space.


No experience necessary! All tools and equipment will be provided, and volunteers of all ages are welcome.

Creative Kids Club

September 14, 10 am, Cottell Park Bungalow


Children in grades 1-4 are invited to join artist Terri Riddle for a morning of exploring their creativity and a fun and supportive environment. Kiddos will create unique masterpieces while sharing laughs with their peers. They will have the opportunity to explore and learn different artistic techniques using a variety of mediums.
