Dear Y'All Saints,

Three Important Announcements:

1. This Sunday is Sunday Night Live at 6:00 p.m.!

Come to the Attic for Sunday Night Live this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. This week we will divide into teams for our own version of the Great British Bake Off! There will be dinner as always, and friends are welcome. We hope you'll join us. It will be sweet! :)

2. Tenth Grade Pilgrimage Info Session this Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

This year's 10th grade class and their parents are invited to a 2020 pilgrimage informational session at 7:30 p.m. in the Attic, following Sunday Night Live. Come and learn about next year's destination and gain preliminary information about dates, cost, expectations, fundraising opportunities, etc... Pilgrimage is a wonderful and much-anticipated milestone at All Saints' designed to help our teens to grow spiritual and learn what it means to be on a lifelong journey with God. Learn more about the pilgrimage program here .

3. Last Chance to Register for Kanuga

We are approaching the September 23 final deadline to register for this year's Annual Parish Retreat to Kanuga Camp and Conference Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina on October 4 - 6. You can read more and register below.
This year we are incorporating a "Youth Track," which will including a bonfire with s'mores, an excursion to the corn maze and apple cannons ( video ) at Stepp's Orchard, and a Saturday evening haunted hike around the lake. Other activities include kayak and canoe races, field games, a dance, the annual scavenger hunt, and worship with the Rt. Rev. Dr Katharine Jefferts Schori, former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church.

In addition, our 6th - 12th graders will have the option this year to stay either with their families or in a designated youth cabin with our team of Kanuga weekend young adult counselors. Friends are always welcome to come along, and we will do our best to accommodate any youth who want to come but whose parents or families are unavailable this year. Just talk to me, Joel, or Jill Gossett, Director of Parish Life.

If you're new to All Saints' or if you've never been to Kanuga, I want you to know that you are warmly welcome, invited, and encouraged to come! Kanuga is a ton of fun and one of the best opportunities for people of all ages to get to know others in the church. Many who attend Kanuga for the first time report returning home to Atlanta with new friends and new connections that transform and enhance their experience at All Saints' on Sunday mornings and throughout the year.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, and I hope to see you soon!
Peace,
