While we’d like as many people to pre-register as possible you will be able to register at any of our Friday or Saturday events. Cash, credit card, debit or cheque will be accepted at the door. However, if you want to be guaranteed a 75th baseball cap you will need to register by 7 p.m. on June 5. Those who register after that deadline may still receive a hat, while supplies last.
Pizza, Parade and Marching Music
Our marching music is finally online. You can download Strike Up The Band (Eric Ford arrangement), The Thunderer, The Hustle, Prince of Thieves and El Dorado from our website at: www.bttbalumni.ca/parademusic.html. We are still looking for some bell parts, but everything else should be there*.

For those who’d like to get a little rehearsal in before stepping off on Saturday morning, we’ll be going through the music and marching around the Music Centre parking lot on Friday, June 17 starting at 7 p.m. Even if you aren’t planning on participating in the parade, you're more than welcome to come out and watch. At about 8:30 p.m. we’ll all repair to Central Arena for pizza and refreshments. (Cash bar) Anyone registered for the weekend is welcome.

Those who are marching, walking or riding** in the parade are asked to be at the Music Centre by 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 18 so we can get lined up and be ready to step off. Participants are asked not to try and park at Music Centre, Arena or Library as those areas will be needed for parade prep. Parking should be available on the side streets around the area. For those who are already marching in the parade with another unit, there will be a Burlington Transit bus waiting for you at the end of the route to take you back to the beginning to do it all over again with the Alumni. Please make your way to the bus as soon as possible so you don’t miss us.

If you need an instrument, you can rent one from Long and McQuade, who is offering discount rentals for Alumni. We will have some Sousaphones and possibly some lyre-style bells available. If you need one or the other, please contact Francis Smith at: francis.smith@burlington.ca. Parade percussion is being organized by Colin Ballantyne and he and the parade team is looking after finding drums for all those involved. If you have any questions, please contact Colin at: colinballantyne@gmail.com. The Colour Guard and Majorettes are being organized by Robyn Garnier who can be contacted at: drumcorpsrobyn@hotmail.com.

* The Eric Ford arrangement of Raindrops is also included in one of the downloads, but we will not be playing it on parade.

** If you would like to book a place on the float, please select a “General Admission with Trailer Seat for the Parade” ticket when you register.
Last Call for the Concert
If you are planning on participating in Sunday night’s Concert in the Park we need to know which instrument and part you'd like to play ASAP. Please e-mail us at bttbalumni@gmail.com so BTTB Music Director (and Band Alumnus) Francis Smith can get the music together and ensure that we have the proper balance of instruments and parts. We will be holding two pre-concert rehearsals, one on Wednesday, June 8 and the other on Wednesday, June 15 (6:30-9 p.m. with the first note being played at 7 p.m.). If you plan on playing, please ensure that you’re able to attend at least one of these rehearsals.
Saturday Night’s Festivities
The social highlight of the reunion weekend will be the Saturday night get-together at Central Arena. This will be a chance to meet old friends, share a few laughs, a few stories and just have some fun.

Things will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. and the whole evening will be very informal. No speeches. No dinner. Nothing to distract you from time with your friends. Of course, it won’t just be an empty arena either. We’ll have a cash bar, snacks, a performance by the current Teen Tour Band and the return of the popular photo booth. The Boosters will be there too just in case you want to buy some BTTB swag, and there will be a corner where you can watch a presentation featuring photos of the Band’s first 75 years.

Saturday night will be what you and your friends make of it, and we know that you’ll make the most of it.
Join Your Fellow “Band Geeks” For a Special Screening
Alumna Morgan Elliott’s documentary on the BTTB’s trip to the 2018 Tournament of Roses will receive a special screening at The Westdale in Hamilton on June 28 at 7 p.m. The event will not only include a showing of Band Geeks, but a post-show Q&A with both Morgan and BTTB Managing Director Rob Bennett. Tickets are available online at: www.thewestdale.ca/event/band-geeks.

What a perfect coda to the 75th celebrations.
