A Word from Our Pastor
Even though we are in the middle of summer and many of our people, including our staff, are traveling and enjoying some time off, we are still working to advance the gospel in our city and throughout the world. We are still moving forward with stewarding the resources God has given us to move His kingdom forward. You are a vital part of not only the mission of the church, but also its administration.

Four times every year our staff and committees report back to the church family all that is being done with the resources provided. We call these brief meetings Quarterly Business Meetings and our next one is scheduled for Wednesday, July 28. At the close of the midweek worship service, we will convene a brief meeting where we will share with our church family reports about what we have been doing. We will also cast some vision about what the future holds for us in the way of missions and ministry..

Business meeting packets will be available in the lobbies of the church this Sunday. I hope you will pick one up and then come celebrate with us on Wednesday night all that God is doing through Parkview. I am looking forward to continuing our series in Hebrews. I hope to see you at 9:30 or 11:00 this Sunday. If you are traveling, you can join us virtually on our Facebook page or Youtube channel.

Make sure you scroll down to see all of the events at Parkview, as well as, any schedule updates to our existing programs. If you have any questions, please call the church office at 386-752-0681 or email at office@pbclc.com.

Sincerely,

Pastor Mike

Volunteer Spotlight: Grayson Roberts
"I love our worship time at Parkview!"

Grayson was born and raised in Lake City. He is thirteen years old and in 8th grade at Lake City Middle School. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, especially basketball, and serves as Treasurer in his school’s Student Government. His favorite book is A Series of Unfortunate Events.

He has been attending Parkview since 2015, along with his parents, Josh Roberts and Kristin Roberts, and twin brother Griffin. On Sunday mornings, Grayson attends a Life Group for middle school boys and then attends worship service with his family. He is an active student volunteer and serves with Vacation Bible School and Upward Basketball. When school is out, he often helps his “Pappaw”, Mark Nodes, with projects around the church campus, During the Covid pandemic, he helped serve meals to senior adults at our drive-thru lunches. When asked why he serves, he said “It’s always fun and I especially like helping younger kids.”
