On November 1, 2018, the Missouri District United Pentecostal Church, extended to me one of the highest honors of my life when you asked us to serve as the full time District Superintendent. Lisa and I are deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve you in this great hour of the Kingdom of God. Thank you for the incredible kindness that you have shown toward us and for your support for the mission that God has given us. We are also blessed to be joined with Bro. and Sis. Carr as they serve as District Secretary. They are wonderful, gifted, anointed leaders who have a passion for the Kingdom of God. God has been good to the Missouri District!
The past few months have been a whirlwind. In December 2018, we sold our house in Poplar Bluff and purchased a home in Wentzville. In 31 days, we sold a house, bought a house, and moved all of our stuff 200 miles. A special thanks to everyone who helped us move out and move in especially Pastor Burns in Poplar Bluff and Pastor Buford in O’Fallon. Our new address is 571 Spring Meadow Crossing, Wentzville, MO 63385. God truly worked a miracle in the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new one. We are thankful!
Strategic Plan
There are 6.1 million people in the state of Missouri and God cares about every one of them. He is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (1 Peter 3:9). Our mission remains unchanged since Jesus challenged his disciples to go into all the world to preach the gospel in order to make disciples in all nations. We have almost 140 cities and towns with populations exceeding 2,000 people that do not have an Apostolic church. This represents over 1.1 million people. This does not include our metro areas which are in serious need of more churches. If every person in Missouri went to a United Pentecostal Church there would be over 39,000 people in each church. Let’s join together and begin to pray for revival and harvest in Missouri like we never have before. “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he would send forth laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2).

As a District we are working on putting together a Strategic Plan that we will launch in 2020. Thank you for everything you have done to help us know where we are so we can determine how to get where we are going. Throughout scripture men and women had to identify what they had before they received a miracle. We may just have a little lad’s lunch which may, as Andrew declared, seem so little compared to the need. However, God is able to take what we bring to him and make something great out of it. I still believe that with God all things are possible.
Office Relocation
Last Fall, Urshan College purchased a new 43 acre campus at 1151 Century Link Drive in Wentzville, Missouri due to a record enrollment and the inability of the current campus to keep up with their projected growth. ( https://urshancollege.org/uncategorized/urshan-acquires-new-campus-in-wentzville-mo/ ) We rejoice with what the Lord has done for Urshan College and UGST. However, with the campus at 700 Howdershell being placed up “for sale” the Missouri District must find a new place for the District Office complex.

Urshan has invited the Missouri District to make the move with them to the new campus in Wentzville. There is a 7,000 sq. ft building on the property that Urshan has proposed we share with another UPCI entity. The building will need to be completely remodeled to be usable for our purposes. The District Board has toured the facility and is currently looking at the options we have before us. I have a vision for our new office complex becoming place of continual training both onsite and online. Please be in prayer that the Lord will direct us in this transition.
Leadership Retreat
We were privileged to have the Missouri District Board and several of our Departmental Leaders in our home in February. What an incredible time of prayer, vision casting, communion, food and fellowship. I am so thankful for the leaders of Missouri that I have the privilege of working with. We have a great team of people that genuinely care about the sections and the ministries they serve. Continue to lift all of our leaders up in prayer. Thank you to the Matthews, the Marlettes & Bro. Luke Levine for their efforts in making this night possible. From food, table cloths, tables, chairs, transport to and from the hotel, clean up and team building activities, their help was greatly appreciated.
Renew Marriage Retreat
Renew had a record breaking attendance of 470 in February. Young marriages as well as seasoned marriages benefited greatly from every session and the fellowship of other Apostolic couples. We thank God for our dedicated youth team and all of their hard work to make this event first class. Strong marriages make strong families and strong families make strong churches. Don't forget to save the date for 2020.
Sectional Conferences
Bro. Carr and I just completed our tour of 11 sections across Missouri to conduct our Sectional Conferences. How much we enjoyed being with all of you! What a wonderful spirit of unity, cooperation, and desire for revival we felt in every section. I am thankful that 50% of the licensed ministers were in attendance and 75% of our churches were represented. Thank you for making that meeting a priority!

Congratulations to everyone who was elected for the upcoming 2-year term which begins at District Conference. We give honor to all of our leaders and we thank God for you. May this be the best season yet for your section. You can view the election results at www.modistrict.com .

In every section, we conducted a S.W.O.T. (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis. We are presently compiling the responses from across the district which we will be shared with you at a later date.

Guatemala Trip
In February, a team of Missouri ministers, traveled to the country of Guatemala for a Pastors on Missions Trip led by Bro. Arnold Mangus, Global Missions Director and by Bishop Garry Tracy. Missionary Brad Thompson sent me the following report.

“Good morning from Guatemala. We have been greatly blessed by the Missouri Pastors on Missions team that ministered in Guatemala this past week. You can be very proud of this team as they represented the MO District with excellence. It was one of the best POM teams that we have had in over 30 years of being in Guatemala.

The team ministered in 4 churches, at our Children's Home and in our Bible School. Bro. Nathaniel Molter connected so well with our kids, both at the Children's Home and in our local churches. Our first child received the Holy Ghost at the children's home, which was so exciting for all of us. In the local churches we were blessed by the challenging testimonies and preaching. There were a total of 32 confirmed to have been filled with the Holy Ghost, one lady baptized and several claimed healings and miracles. It was an awesome week.” -Brad Thompson, Missionary to Guatemala
