TSDC is one of the finest performing arts training centers in the Tri-State area. Whether your passion is ballet, pointe, tap, lyrical, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theater, or Acro you will find a class that meets your needs.

We provide instruction for all ages and skill levels from Tumbling Tot classes for ages 3&4 through our professional caliber instruction for young adults. We have the classes and training you are looking for.

Our award-winning school is nationally recognized. Several of our students have gone on to professional dance careers and others have attended colleges & universities on dance scholarships. But all of our students leave with a true love of the art of dance.

Monthly dues reduced by $10 to $40 per month

TSDC welcomes any dancer who would like to join the fun and wonderful experiences of our dance company. Company members perform multiple dances at the annual June Recital and at their own Showcase which features new choreography and soloist performers. All company members are highly focused on strengthening their dance technique and performance skills.

Dancers who are company members have the option to participate in local dance competitions. This is another outlet to be on stage with fellow dancers in group dances or in a solo, duo, or trio.

Dance Company members are also featured in our major stage performance opportunities including Nutcracker, Beauty and the Beast and the Aladdin Ballet. All performances will take place at the historic Scottish Rite Theater in Collingswood.

Acro classes for ages 3-18

NEW: Tumbling Tots Class for Pre-K students

TSDC will be offering Acro classes again this year for ages 3-18. Acro classes are held on Wednesdays the entire dance year, Sept. through June.

The popular Tumbling Tots class returns this year for our Pre-School students ages 3-4.

Learn from the basics to advanced skills in our Acro classes. Our highly experienced Acro instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. Classes will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique.

These classes do NOT perform in the annual recital and therefore NO costume is required. Tuition for Acro classes follow the same tuition rates as dance classes.

Musical Theater Classes

Wednesday 7:45-8:45 Levels 4,5,6

Wednesday 7:45-9:15 Levels 7, Teen 1 & 2, Pro 1,2,3

Learn classic Broadway Theatre Dance movement and styles from your favorite musicals in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.

Students will explore the origin of musical theatre and the shows that have defined the genre. Participants will study choreography, acting, vocal, history of theatre, and other elements including resume writing, headshots and mock auditions.

The atmosphere is positive, professional and challenging, allowing the performers to participate in a powerful Musical Theater experience and gain the confidence for any budding Broadway hopeful.

Boys and girls both welcome.
