BID Day 2025 Recap

On Tuesday, May 6, NYC Small Business Services (SBS) celebrated the third annual "Business Improvement District (BID) Day" by visiting several of the city’s 76 BIDs, including Long Island City’s newly expanded BID. SBS Commissioner Dynishal Gross and staff members Zaxx Abraham, Destany Batista, and Morgan Geraghty toured several local businesses, including Lucky Pizzeria, 929, Chef Papa, Dun Huang, and Coffee Project, to hear directly from business owners. They also observed the streetscape and discussed upcoming plans for the neighborhood with our team. We thank Commissioner Gross and her team for their time and continued support.

PIX 11 joined the tour and interviewed Victor Nair, owner of Lucky Pizzeria, about the benefits of being located in a BID. Watch the segment here and learn more about BID Day here.
