On this Mother's Day, we honor all our volunteers and foster mommas who are the foundation of our program. Thanks to their big hearts, we can continue saving Bulldogs' lives. They are the glue that keeps us together! Please raise your glass to all the mommas who make a difference for those in need.

An amazing wall of honor

From foster momma Katie: I've volunteered for Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for nearly eight years, and sans a handful of days, I've continually had a foster dog... or 4+.

I love being a dog mom because they give me so much love in return. Many of them need to be nursed back to health or need emotional support and it is so rewarding when they blossom.

In the pic of me, you can see our current foster dogs, Lola Jean and William Knox. They are so deserving of a loving home. Behind me are all the foster dogss that my husband, Matthew, and I have fostered throughout the years. We love them all dearly. We keep a picture of each of them because they are a part of our family and we never want to forget them.

Our foster families' dog pantries need a boost

With more than 70 dogs in foster care, we need a lot of supplies! Can you help? You can "click, click, send" through our online wish lists. Your orders placed through our Amazon Wish List or our Chewy Wish List will ship directly to us. We're so grateful to have your support!

We're planning to host a Facebook auction June 27-30, 2024, to benefit Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue and we want you to join us!

We're gathering our items for the auction block now. We know that some of you would like to donate goodies too, which is AWESOME!

If so, please send us an email to info@dfwbulldogrescue.org. We'll need to have your donation IN HANDS by June 13.

Please note: we will have a limited number of items in the auction to help us better manage it. If your contribution does not make it into this auction, it will be used in a silent auction at a future fundraiser or in a future online auction.

All funds raised through this event will help offset the vet bills we incur while helping Bulldogs in need. Every dollar raised is important to us because we constantly have a number of dogs to treat. We often have more than 70 dogs in our care at any given time.

Don't be unprepared

Tornadoes, flooding, wind, hail.... you name it, we're seeing it. What would you do if a disaster struck your home? Taking a few minutes now to create a preparedness plan could save you and your dog from anguish and heartache. Read on to make sure you are ready for whatever comes your way.

Bull-O-Ween 2024: Destination determined?

Several of our volunteers will be visiting a possible site for our 18th annual Bull-O-Ween next weekend. We have all our fingers, toes and paws crossed that it will work for our needs. We're ready to start our party planning!

That being said, we still have a blank event calendar for the summer!

We're looking for dog-friendly, air-conditioned sites in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with weekend availability to host one of our Bulldog Bonanzas. Maybe you have a facility you can offer for a two to three hour "Bulldog pop-up." We hope so! Please message us if so.

We're excited to be part of The Sound's Fall Fest Market and we want you to be a part of it too.

On Nov. 16, come out to support local vendors, enjoy delicious food, be entertained by incredible live music.... Oh, and meet some of our awesome foster doggos!

Learn how to express them yourself or be sure to ask your vet to cover that base at your next visit.

Hundreds of Bulldogs are lost, abandoned, taken to animal shelters, or surrendered to rescue every year. Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue accepts Bulldogs whose owners can no longer keep them, and retrieves Bulldogs from shelters and undesirable situations. Our Bulldogs are placed in suitable homes as soon as reasonably possible.
