Countdown to Friday, June 5th!
Our annual partnership with Denver Botanic Gardens is right around the corner...please mark your calendars for Friday, June 5th, and stop by to see us at Raptor Day at the Gardens! A full slate of activities, all indoors, will take place between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Come meet our newest (and tiniest!) raptor in the Freyer-Newman Center Atrium: our one-year old male American kestrel, pictured above.
Our latest film, Denver's Downtown Peregrines, will be playing every 20 minutes in the FNC Auditorium above the library and Atrium. Five of our raptors will be on display in Mitchell Hall, with two formal presentations taking place at 9:30am and 11:30am. This is an excellent opportunity to visit with our raptors and staff up close, take photos and shop our wonderful raptor-focused merchandise, including books, earrings and pins. It's also a great place to renew or upgrade your membership and find out more about getting involved with us!
We're very excited to partner once again with the Denver Botanic Gardens as we celebrate raptors and the diverse habitats and landscapes they inhabit...including the York Street neighborhood around the Gardens.
See you there!
