New Executive Director

Meet Lauren Dannar!

Lauren Dannar often calls herself a “Trenton transplant” after moving nearly 15 years ago when she married her husband who grew up in Trenton. Together Lauren and her husband have three children, three dogs, and more chickens than she cares to admit. Her family has a baking business that started as a hobby during COVID but blossomed into something pretty fun. She’s involved in Trenton in many ways with the most recent involvement being the treasurer for the local elementary school’s PTO.

Her professional career started after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration with her roles as a member of management in the banking industry, Financial Operations Manager for a greenhouse, and serving clients at an accounting firm. These previous work experiences have prepared her for her current role as Executive Director of Main Street Trenton and she says, “Though I would not have seen myself in a role such as an Executive Director of Main Street Trenton, I am eager to watch our Main Street grow.”

Trenton’s future looks bright as Main Street Trenton has a lot of future plans they want to accomplish from starting a farmer’s market and bringing new businesses to the Trenton downtown to making downtown an inviting place for people. Lauren told Main Street Trenton’s Board of Directors and members of the community that, “If I do my job right, we will make our town somewhere for our kids to be proud to be from and want to return to as adults.”
