Item Pickup from OnDemand Storage

Boarding students who stored belongings with OnDemand storage have two options for item pickup. For a flat fee of $50 per student, families can schedule in-room item delivery with OnDemand. This can be done through the OnDemand website; families can leave the room number blank as the dean’s office will share room numbers with OnDemand for families opting in. Alternatively, items can be picked up from Benson Gymnasium by students and their families for no additional charge.

Boarding Room Reminders

Boarding students and their families are encouraged to read the Boarding Student Information section of the Student Handbook, which begins on page 44. Prior to moving in, please review the sections on fire safety, prohibited items, furniture, refrigerators, and room decoration and care. Requests to add or drop a course should wait until the add/drop period, which will run from September 11 through September 22. More information about the add/drop period will be available as we get closer to the first day of classes.

Global Citizenship

2023-2024 Global Travel Opportunities

We have a robust set of Global Travel Opportunities this coming year. Please be sure to pick up a copy of the Global Opportunities Guide at registration! As always feel free to reach out with any questions.

Technology

Bring Your Own Device

To ensure that all students have equitable access to the tools they need to pursue their studies, St. Mark’s requires each student to have a laptop computer—either a Mac or a Windows PC. Chromebooks and tablet devices are not sufficient as they do not support some desktop applications used in our classes. By ensuring that all students have comparable devices, the school better supports instruction in the classroom, allowing faculty to plan for predictable and reliable access to technological tools throughout the curriculum.

Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Microsoft 365 Installation

St. Mark's offers access to both Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365. Students may use either.

Athletics

Athletics Sign-Up and Varsity Preseason

Athletic Sign-Up

As a reminder, all new and returning students need to select this link for the athletic sign-up. Please read through the options very carefully as you sign up.

When you arrive at St. Mark’s this September, you will have a chance to confirm your fall, winter, and spring sports sign-up. If you have changed your mind or want to discuss your options further, you will have an opportunity to do that at new student registration.

Varsity Preseason

Varsity preseason, beginning Tuesday, September 5, is by invitation only. Preseason is open to those students who have the experience and potential to earn a spot on a varsity team. Students must be invited by the head varsity coach to attend preseason. Please refer to the email invitation sent in late June for more information on preseason.

SM Students and Alumni Shine in Summer Camp Debut
