What happens when you take two of Rosenberg’s SWEETEST events, whisk them together and make them into one new, bigger, better day of fun? You get SUGAR RUSH!
Join us in Historic Downtown Rosenberg on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our newest fun, free and oh-so-sweet event - Sugar Rush! Participating merchants in historic downtown will be handing out a variety of free sweets, chocolates, candies, cookies and more to visitors. The adventure begins at Water Tower Square, 2100 Avenue G, where event maps will guide participants through the sugary fun. The first 1,000 guests will receive a fun bag to place their yummy treats in and there’s an extra sweet surprise for the first 100 event attendees.
This event fuses together two former events, Chocolate Walk and Cookie Walk, transforming them into a single celebration of all things sweet! Sugar Rush was previously scheduled for February but had to be postponed due to weather. Along with a sugar overload, event attendees can enjoy music, food trucks, photo opportunities, cotton candy and other sweet surprises!
In addition to satisfying your sweet tooth, the day is packed with shopping opportunities as the Sidewalk Sale unfolds alongside the city's City-Wide Garage Sale, offering bargains and treasures!
