Good afternoon Saint Nicholas Families!

Only 15 more "get ups" and this school year will be over. There is a lot going on to celebrate all our students accomplishments so please make note of each event and we hope to see you there.

The end of the year also means it is time to start planning for middle school. If you will be new to middle school here are a couple things to keep in mind for the next week:

5th through 7th grade students will bring home an elective request form from school tomorrow. Please help them choose which electives they would like to participate in, sign the form, and return it next Friday, May 30. This will allow us to build student schedules so they are ready to be picked up at the ice cream social. Thank you for your attention to this.

We are also reviewing student performance data, classroom progress, and other relevant information to ensure each middle school student is placed in a math course that best supports their learning and growth. Math placement decisions will be shared with 5th through 7th grade families by the end of this month. We appreciate your patience as we complete this process. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Yearbook payment is due to the front office no later than Tuesday, May 27th.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need a couple volunteers to lead the way for our Maritime Gig Festival Parade entrance. The parade is on Saturday, June 7th and we would love to have some parents take the lead. Please email kjames@sncsgh.org if you can lead and organize the volunteers

The last day for hanging baskets is Friday, May 23rd. Don't forget to turn in your order now! Print this form and bring it to the front office with payment. Cash or checks (payable to SNCS) are accepted forms of payment.

Spring Clean-Up Time! Got sports equipment gathering dust? Bookshelves overflowing? Clear out the clutter and give your gently used items a new home! Help Chapters and Champions, a student-led club at Bellarmine as they aim to help kids excel on and off the field by providing gently used books and sports equipment to children and teens in need. Please bring your gear and books to the front office by June 12th and place in the bin labeled Chapters and Champions and we’ll distribute to those who need it most!

It's that time of year again! Students in Grades 2nd-8th can order their school supply kits now until June 20th! Take away the hassle of back-to-school shopping and support our school as well by buying your kit now.

This year's cutoff is Friday, May 30, to purchase physical cards, but e-SCRIP will continue through Saturday, May 31.

If you want an estimate of your totals and/or Buy Out amount, contact Judy at rdmjudymc@hotmail.com before the cutoff date.

ALL purchases in June will apply towards next year's requirement. June's purchases will not count towards this year's requirement.

As a reminder, any SCRIP balances will be put on your FinalSite account after May 31st.
