Message
Waiting is one of the hardest disciplines of faith. When prayers seem unanswered and progress feels slow, it’s easy to assume that nothing is happening. But Scripture reminds us that God is never idle… especially in the waiting.
Israel stood at the edge of the Red Sea with the enemy closing in. They couldn’t move forward, backward, or sideways. From a human perspective, it looked hopeless. But God was already working behind the scenes. While they stood still, He was positioning the miracle.
The waiting season is not punishment… it’s preparation. God often does His deepest work in us when we’re forced to stop striving and start trusting. Stillness doesn’t mean weakness; it means surrender. It means believing that God sees what you can’t and is fighting battles you don’t even know exist.
If you’re waiting today, don’t lose heart. God is aligning things in ways only He can. Stay faithful. Stay prayerful. The breakthrough will come… right on time.
Prayer For Today
Heavenly Father, Teach us to trust You in the waiting. When we feel stuck, uncertain, or discouraged, remind us that You are fighting for us. Help us release control, quiet our fears, and rest in Your promises. Strengthen our faith as we wait, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good and always in Your perfect time..
