OML Creates Easier Way to Subscribe and Unsubscribe to Email Blast Notifications
|
For some time, OML has been creating its email blasts/notifications, along with the weekly
Insight
and the
Advocate
through a software program called Constant Contact. As required by law, subscribers have always been given the opportunity to unsubscribe to the emails. However, until recently, when someone unsubscribed to an email sent through the Constant Contact software, it automatically unsubscribed you from receiving all publications sent by email from OML.

OMSC Announces Partnership with BuyBoard
|
|
The Oklahoma Municipal Services Corporation (OMSC), the business arm of the Oklahoma Municipal League (OML), is excited to announce its new partnership with BuyBoard®, a cooperative allowing cities more purchasing power for equipment and supplies.
BuyBoard was created to support and serve public schools, municipalities, counties, and all types of local government agencies and nonprofits. Members will find almost everything needed to support their organization. Combining the purchase power of local governments provides members the leverage to achieve better pricing on products ranging from park supplies to office furniture, heavy machinery to uniforms, vehicles to library books.

For the past several weeks, OML Field Representatives have been traveling to different communities, hosting Round Table events. These events provide an opportunity for area community leaders to come together to discuss common challenges and solutions as well as general municipal governance issues.
