Hello, Watershed Friends.

It has been a great time the past six years working along side you and behind the scene to do wonderful watershed work together. It is time for me to venture a bit upstream along the Cuyahoga River. Tomorrow is my last day in my role as Watershed Volunteer Coordinator; one that I feel honored to have done. I will be joining Summit Metro Parks as Volunteer Manager following Della Day who served in that role for 18 years. I will be taking with me many great watershed moments and tree-mendous gratitude for each of you. Your passion and dedication is a true inspiration for me.

I am very proud of the WVP team and know that Elizabeth Hiser (Stream Restoration Ecologist), Bre Turner (Community Science Assistant), and Taelor Benoit (WVP Seasonal) will do a great job of keeping WVP flowing strong. Please continue to reach out to wvpinfo@clevelandmetroparks.com to provide feedback and support along with any questions. One of them will get back to you as soon as they are able.

Thank you for our time together, to WVP over its 10 years of existence, and what you will do going forward.

With Gratitude,

Lisa Meranti (she/her)

Watershed Volunteer Program Coordinator

p.s. Something came up and we need to postpone our celebration for Lisa. Stay tuned for a future event where we can gather and learn all about Lisa's new role at Summit Metro Parks.

Fondly,

Elizabeth Hiser (she/her)
