Building a Prophetic Community: Formation, Service, and Our Rights & Responsibilities
Dear Paulist Center Community,
As we step into our new three-year Pastoral Plan, we are anchoring our efforts in our yearly Catholic Social Teaching theme: Rights and Responsibilities.
To act justly in the world, we must first be deeply formed in our faith. Guided by our Strategic Anchor to be a community that forms and sends out disciples, our Pastoral Plan outlines clear directives for the coming years:
-
Deepen our formation in Catholic Social Teaching.
-
Commit to being a prophetic Catholic community in action and witness.
-
Reimagine & strengthen our Family Religious Education Program (FREP) and adult faith formation.
This local commitment mirrors the national Paulist Fathers Assembly Report, which challenges us to live out our unique charism as missionaries of reconciliation. We cannot defend the rights of others or fulfill our responsibilities to the vulnerable without constant spiritual renewal and community collaboration.
Act with Us: Join us this evening, October 13th, at 7:00 pm for a discussion about the Paulist Father's General Assembly Report entitled: Charism, Spirituality and Mission. Fr. Rich Andre will be our presenter, and we will have break-out rooms for small group discussions. Discussion Guide.
Join the Zoom Meeting on October 13th.
