BBQ & Blues Festival 2023

Registration

There will be two age groups: 6-10 years old and 11-15 years old. Space is limited to a total of 20 participants.
Each entry form must be signed by the participant’s parent or guardian.
Each participant and parent or guardian MUST attend the cook's meeting on Friday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the judge's tent.
All entries must be turned in to either Bixby Fire Station by Monday May 15th by 5:00 p.m.

Washington Irving Memorial Park and Arboretum is a public park and arboretum; named in honor of American writer Washington Irving, it is said that he camped in the area in October 1832 while participating in a federal expedition to the American West. In the back of the park is a replica of Washington Irving’s home in Sunnyside, New York.

Information for Parade Observers:

Parking areas to observe the parade include Central Elementary, 9th Grade Center, and Bixby Middle School
Due to construction, the parade audience may line up along the route on Riverview from the HOTS entrance to the north, 151st Street, and Mingo to the new East HS entrance.

What is Bixby Connect?

Spot a pothole? Driving to work and notice a stop sign is missing? Bixby Connect Mobile app and Web-Based Service gives citizens an easier way to report issues around the Bixby community. It also allows citizens to stay connected with city staff on the progress of their requests. Bixby Mobile Connect allows users to attach a photograph. The app also utilizes adjustable GPS for clearer reporting. Citizens can report multiple types of issues, view other user’s previous and active status reports. Citizens will also find quick links to Frequently Asked Questions, Utility Payments and various other services offered by the City of Bixby.
