March 2026

Greetings,

I want to thank everyone who completed the TIAC membership satisfaction survey. You told us your priorities, like addressing rising costs, and that you want more opportunities to contribute your perspective and help inform policy direction.

We heard that clearly, and we’re acting. In the months ahead, we’ll be reaching out with new ways for you to engage, share insights, and play a more active role in shaping our work on the issues that matter most to you.

In meetings and conferences across the country, I’ve felt the momentum firsthand. We’re beginning to speak with one, unified voice for a stronger national tourism industry.

You can amplify that voice by joining our National Tourism Week social media campaign on April 20–24, celebrating tourism’s role in Canada’s economy and culture. And I hope to see our members in person on April 22 on Parliament Hill in Ottawa at a reception recognizing the power of tourism.

There’s more ahead. Planning for the 2026 Tourism Congress is underway, and early bird registration is now open. This year’s program will better reflect your needs, with expanded networking and more targeted sessions.

Thank you for your continued leadership and engagement.
