Mark Your Calendar: 860 Gives Back March 31st

Hello, CCEH Community!

✨ Something exciting is coming to the 860 Region—and we want you to be part of it! ✨ 

📅 On March 31 at 6:00 a.m., 860Gives kicks off a 48-hour giving event during which our region rallies around the nonprofits making a difference in our communities.

Think of it as the 860's biggest day of generosity—and the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) is in the mix!

Here's why this matters: This isn't just another fundraising campaign. 860Gives amplifies our cause in a new way, connects us with new supporters, and—here's the best part—unlocks additional prizes and incentives for nonprofits that make every dollar go further. 

Our goal is $5,000.

We're asking you to do three things:

1. ⏰ Mark March 31-April 2 on your calendar (donations close at 6:00 a.m. on April 2).
2. 💻 Visit our profile and make your gift during the 48-hour window.
3. 📣 Tell everyone. Forward this email. Post on socials. Text your people. The bigger our wave of support, the bigger our impact!

🤝 Nonprofits in our region are stronger together. Let's show what the 860 and CCEH communities are capable of!

P.S. From a fundraising perspective, this is a busy time of the year, and even more so in 2026 with three giving day opportunities on the horizon through June. Those upcoming dates are:

860Gives – March 31-April 2, 48-hour live public campaign [the inaugural year, powered by United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut]

The Great Give 2026 – May 6-7, 36-hour campaign [17^th year, hosted by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven]

Birdies for Charity – June 22-28 [22^nd year, hosted by The Travelers Championship]

We will send out additional information as we register and build our organization's profile on each site. We invite you to participate as you feel called.
