As we begin the new year, we are excited to kick off re-enrollment for the upcoming school year. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership with St. Monica Catholic School. Re-enrollment instructions were sent on Thursday afternoon, so please be sure to review them carefully.

We are also preparing for National Catholic Schools Week, a special time to celebrate our faith, our students, and the gift of Catholic education. Be sure to check the calendar below for all scheduled events, especially the parent/student lunch days.

Basketball season tips off this weekend, and we look forward to cheering on our Bearcats throughout the season. As we approach the long weekend, January 16–19, we wish your family a safe, restful, and enjoyable break.

2nd Semester Reminders: With cold and flu season in full swing, please remember to send your children to school with proper outerwear and encourage them not to share personal items, such as water bottles or utensils, to help keep everyone healthy.

Additionally, to support a focused learning environment, backpack adornments (such as Labubus) should be left at home, as these items can become a distraction in the classroom.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued partnership in keeping our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

No School

Friday, January 16th &

Monday, January 19th

Enjoy your long weekend!

For Parent/Teacher Conferences on Monday, January 19th: There is no sign-up, and teachers will reach out to parents if they feel a conference is warranted. If you have something you would like to meet with your child's teacher about, please feel free to reach out to the teacher to schedule some time.

Safe Environment Reminder: Please check to ensure you have a CURRENT Safe Environment badge. Completing the Sign Up Genius below and bringing your SE badge will get you in quickly for grade level lunches.

If you have completed your Safe Environment training, but do not have your badge:

  1. Check to see if your badge is at the front desk in McManus
  2. If your badge is not in McManus, email safeenvironment@stmonicachurch.org

CSW Parent/Student Lunch Days

A long-held tradition of our CSW celebration is for parents to enjoy lunch with their children during designated lunch times.

Many parents bring lunch to enjoy with their child (Chick-fil-A, Jimmy John's, etc.). K-8 parents who have completed the Sign-Up and have a current Safe Environment badge (aka Fast Pass) can go directly to the cafeteria and show their badge. K-8 parents without a current Safe Environment badge and who have NOT completed the Sign-Up will need to check in with Raptor in McManus and then walk to the cafeteria. All Pre-K parents will check-in at McManus. Having a current SE badge and completing the Sign-Up will make check-in faster.
