Annual Payout Review Schedule

To create a more consistent and predictable approach to payout reviews, we have updated our process for evaluating production levels against our payout grid. In the past, reviews were conducted on a more sporadic basis; moving forward, we are implementing a structured schedule to provide greater clarity and allow for better planning.

Production levels will now be reviewed twice annually—in April and October—to help ensure payouts remain fair, consistent, and aligned with each advisor’s production over time. This review may result in adjustments to payout—either upward or downward—based on how production aligns with the current tier. Any adjustments identified will be communicated at that time, providing ample opportunity to plan and, where applicable, make changes to production levels.

There are no immediate changes to payouts as a result of this update.

Importantly, any resulting payout changes will not take effect until the start of the following period. Adjustments communicated in April will take effect July 1, and adjustments communicated in October will take effect January 1 of the following year.

As part of this review, we will also consider the sustainability of production increases. Greater emphasis will be placed on recurring and ongoing revenue streams, as these are more indicative of long-term business growth and stability. Production driven primarily by one-time or non-recurring transactions may be evaluated differently when determining eligibility for payout tier adjustments.

We appreciate your partnership and continued commitment to growth and excellence within our community. If you have any questions, please reach out to Paula Johnston at paula@prosperityadvisors.com or 913-553-2590.
