Reminder: turn off your irrigation system
This week's rainfall has watered lawns but not the lake
Sandy beaches along the Lake Travis shoreline are not a good thing! Lake Travis is Cedar Park's sole drinking water source.

This photo, snapped after all this week's rain, shows Lake Travis is still just about half full. The good news is that the rain did give our lawns a much-needed soaking.

If you have an automatic irrigation system, turn it off - and save water and money!

  • Turn in proof of purchase & installation
  • Get 50 cents-per-gallon-capacity- purchased in credits to your water bill - up to $100 in total water bill credit over lifetime of your account

We-❤️ Scouts!
Way to earn that citizenship badge, Pack 97
Scouts from Pack 97 visited with Mayor Jim Penniman-Morin and Council Member Mel Kirkland to learn a little bit about how local government works. They led the Pledges of Allegiance to the U.S. and Texas Flags at the April 27, 2023 City Council Meeting. They also stayed for a little while to see Council in action. It's all part of earning their merit badge in Scouts BSA. Way to go, Pack 97 Scouts!
