A Letter of Gratitude and Holiday Wishes from our Executive Director

Greetings!

As we close out 2025 and enter the holiday season, I’m filled with gratitude—and a deep sense of resolve. This year marked ten years since Texas Pride Community Foundation was incorporated, and our first year operating as a fully independent, stand-alone community foundation.

Behind the scenes, we strengthened the systems, governance, and policies needed to support LGBTQ+ Texans for the long haul. And through it all, our communities kept showing up. So did we.

Even amid significant organizational transformation, we continued our grantmaking—supporting more than 30 LGBTQ+ organizations through our Community Grants and the Texas Health Impact Cohort in 2025. These organizations are advancing life-saving healthcare, expanding access to essential services, nurturing LGBTQ+ youth, and strengthening community resilience—especially in small cities, rural areas, and communities facing the greatest barriers.

Looking Ahead.

In January 2026, our Board will adopt a new strategic plan focused on:

  • Building a permanent LGBTQ+ endowment for Texas
  • Strengthening the statewide nonprofit ecosystem
  • Ensuring readiness for emerging needs

This next chapter is about permanence, stability, and impact that lasts beyond any single moment.

A Year-End Invitation.

If you’re planning to make your year-end gift, thank you. And if you’re able, I invite you to consider making it a monthly gift. A sustaining contribution—at any amount—helps ensure that when LGBTQ+ communities need us most, Texas Pride Community Foundation is ready. Monthly giving turns generosity into stability and helps carry this work forward well beyond December.

As the year draws to a close, please know how grateful I am for you—for your belief in this work, and for standing with LGBTQ+ Texans during a time when community, care, and courage matter more than ever.

Wishing you and your loved ones a season of rest, connection, and hope—and a new year filled with purpose and possibility.

With appreciation and warm holiday wishes,

Ron Guillard, MBA
