Hello TheDream.US,
This is Gaby Pacheco, President and CEO of TheDream.US. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you for being awarded TheDream.US Scholarship!
I am reaching out personally to encourage you to accept your award by this Thursday, May 9. See directions below.
Being a former undocumented college student myself, I get it. I know firsthand that tackling college as a Dreamer and pushing through tough hurdles won't be easy. But let me tell you, from reading your application essay, you've got what it takes and we believe in you.
At TheDream.US, we believe profoundly in the transformative power of education. We are more than a scholarship program. TheDream.US Team and your Partner College are here to help you see new possibilities and reach your dreams.
You will be joining our community of 10,000+ Scholars, which includes 4,000 graduates, who are first-generation immigrants and often fully undocumented. We understand that a college degree is not just about academic success—it's a pathway to better economic opportunities, more involvement in your community, and an advantage towards gaining permanent legal status.
