and re-envisioning
new systems and new economic options, it's up to us to
focus on nuclear weapons, the President's threats to restart nuclear testing, and an obscenely bloated military budget.
A team of WILPF volunteers has been coordinating our first
Solidarity Action of 2020, using the 75th Anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (August 6/9) to highlight the horrific dangers and billions of dollars wasted each year by nuclear weapons maintenance and manufacturing, and tying this milestone in human history to the historic recent UN Call for Global Ceasefire in a time of Pandemic.
Join the call to learn how YOU can participate in a range of options raise public awareness in the lead up to November's election, and while people in lockdown are paying attention. Find tools and resources that make it easy to gain public attention and facilitate discourse on an often avoided subject.
