A Time to Reflect and Give Back...

As we near the end of our 20th Anniversary year, Amani's work in our community has never been more important or more challenging. In a year that saw frequent policy changes, uncertainty, loss of social supports, and confusion, the clients and staff at Amani pushed on to ensure we gave immigrant and refugee families in Fort Wayne, the best possible support.

Our work looks a bit different than when we started over 20 years ago as Crime Victim Care (CVC), but the need for culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care continues in our community. And just as we have been doing over the past two decades, this year we have had to pivot and make changes. But, because of supporters, like you, in our community, we have been able to continue to serve over 2,000 individuals and families every year. You make that possible.

Thank You.

Thank you for supporting Amani.

Thank you for standing with us even when we were challenged.

Thank you for showing up for families in Fort Wayne.

Thank you for making it possible for our staff to ensure families are mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy and have the chance to thrive.

As you consider your end of year plans, please include Amani.

Choose to make a financial gift of support, purchase a toy or book from our Wish List, make a QCD from your IRA, or sponsor an event.

Please continue to share our mission with your friends and family, and thank you.

Wishing you a beautiful and safe Holiday Season,

Time for an Update...

In 2019, Amani moved into our current location. And over the past 7 years, we have served nearly 10,000 individuals and families. But that means our individual and family therapy rooms have been well-loved but need a bit of TLC as you can see in this photo.

As you plan your holiday shopping, consider adding a book, toy or something else from our Wish List to your shopping cart!
