Wondering How to Engage your Community on Peace Day, September 21st?
Wondering How to Engage your Community on Peace Day, September 21st?
Peace on Earth by 2030 can help!
Peace Day is coming soon! Are you looking for how to engage your community/organization? You may have heard of the Peace on Earth by 2030 moonshot, but did you know there is a simple set of three Peace Day actions to create an inspiring and empowering celebration? You can focus on one or combine them using the guide below.
Peace Ceremony: Create an experience of bringing people together in oneness, unity, and cooperation, and inspiring hope for the future. (1 hour)
Peace Walk: Organize a short walk (1-3 miles) where small teams engage in simple and profound conversations about peace. (2 hours)
The Peace Feast: Host a vibrant potluck celebration that embraces your community's diverse culinary and artistic traditions, while fostering unity and creative collaboration. (1.5-2 hours)
Peace Day events can help achieve a tipping point of 40 million players of the Peace Game – the moonshot goal for achieving Peace on Earth by 2030. This is because the Peace Game’s transformational platform of seven peace practices is woven into the three Peace Day activities described above. If enough Peace Day events around the world use these potent peacebuilding tools a planetary field will be created powerful enough to start transforming the “othering” in the world.
Peace on Earth may sound like a dream—but we believe it’s a tipping point away. Science tells us that when just ½ of 1% of a population adopts new behaviors (peace practices), it can transform the whole system—like how a few fireflies sync, and suddenly the whole forest lights up. Multiply that across the planet, and we’ve seeded a culture of peace by 2030. It’s not just a vision. It’s math. It’s humanity becoming whole again.
Let us seize this opportunity for profound planetary transformation and co-create Peace on Earth by 2030, one community at a time!
With gratitude and solidarity,

Three Epic Events in One Day – Truly an Event for Our Times!
Celebrating the International Day of Peace and Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations
“We Rise as One!” is a Soul-Stirring Concert and Healing Immersion at Grace Cathedral
In a time when headlines overflow with war, division, and despair, a wave of hope and harmony will rise from the heart of San Francisco. On September 27, the iconic Grace Cathedral will host We Rise as One!, a day-long transformational gathering and global peace concert aligning with the International Day of Peace and the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations — serving as the call to collective awakening.
Pathways To Peace, The Global Wisdom Foundation, and Hubcast Media are hosting this milestone event, and bringing together visionary artists, wisdom keepers, interfaith leaders, and community builders for a soul-stirring journey from grief to grace, and culminating in a powerful concert celebrating our Unity — through music, story, and sacred connection.
“This isn’t just a concert,” says Emmy-winning composer and musical director Gary Malkin.
“It’s a ritual of remembrance — a space to come home to our shared humanity, and to discover what’s still possible when we lead with unity instead of fear.”
✨ A Day of Healing, Unity, and Collective Awakening

The concert will also include interfaith blessings, spoken word, indigenous ceremony, and transcendent music — all unified around the theme of collective healing.
From 6:00 – 7:30, the San Francisco/Bay Area Culture of Peace Collaborative (SF/BA Collaborative) will be hosting a networking event in the back of the Cathedral that is free and open to the public. Our nonprofit partners will have tables with materials celebrating the opportunities to get engaged in building Peace.
Special thanks to the SF/BA Collaborative for their assistance in making this event a reality!
Admission to the Peace Concert is free with your purchase of a Graceful Passages Workshop Ticket. You will note that we have attempted to make these offerings as affordable as possible by offering a sliding fee tiered ticketing system. No one will be turned away from the Peace Concert based on the ability to pay. Both Pathways To Peace and the Global Wisdom Foundation are social impact nonprofits; all proceeds after cost will go into local and global peacebuilding. Thank you for your presence and contributions to Peace!
Thanks to Hubcast Media, the concert will also be broadcast globally for those who can’t participate in person. Broadcast registration is coming soon! Stay tuned to our website!
🗣️ A Message the World is Ready to Hear
As media and citizens alike seek stories of restoration and unity, We Rise as One! stands as a beacon of what’s possible — a nonpartisan, heart-centered alternative to the divisive noise that dominates our feeds.
“We’re not escaping the grief of our times,” says Malkin.
“We’re metabolizing it into grace — together.”
