But I have seen the Media's Sin of Omission/s when it comes the Dream Keeper Initiative (DKI). I have seen first hand the ignoring of and snobbery against Black- led organizations doing great things in the community via DKI that benefits all San Francisco (more to come on the Sin of Omission)... and as you do your own queries about the negative stories vs the truthful positive stories of Black and communities of color... Keep in Mind this God given revelation to me... YOU CAN NOT SEE WHAT YOU ARE BLINDED BY!"
There are a lot of data points that were sent to the so-called "San Francisco Bay Area Liberal Media"...that have been ignored during the life of DKI.
I for one don't believe in an eye for an eye... because it make us all blind fools...
But I ask that you consider the source and do some of your own queries on media coverage.
Have you ever seen the media make mistakes on the front page and bury the corrections on the back page, if at all? I have ( "Live from Here" Tom Papa's voice).
Doing so makes for "Damning non-responses"....that are detrimental "Out in America." Not sharing the WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, HURTS EVERYONE!
We were taught in J-School at UGA, home of the prestigious "Peabody Awards" that "Media is the Watch Dog of Democracy." My question has always been who is watching the "Watch Dog?"
Asian UCLA Law Professor Jerry Kang warned us in "Trojan Horses of Race" https://jerrykang.net/research/2005-trojan-horses-of-race/ in 2005 and in some of his most recent work, along with other media that media calls for diligent observation.
